Katrina & Sonakshi's Turf War: Photos, Wallpapers Collection

Even as the alleged war between Katrina & Sonakshi heats up, it's interesting to note that both of Salman's protegees seem to follow the same route in terms of their film careers.

Kat only worked with the creme de la crème of the industry after the disastrous fate of her debut film 'Boom' and Sona seems to be taking a leaf out of Katrina's book as she's only signing films opposite senior actors.

It may be recalled that after sharing screen space with Amitabh Bachchan and Jackie Shroff in Kaizad Gustad's 'Boom', Katrina made waves with her appearance opposite Salman Khan in 'Maine Pyaar Kyun Kiya'. Then came her hit pairing with Akshay Kumar in two consecutive movies – 'Humko Deewana Kar Gaye' and 'Namastey London'.

She was part of an ensemble cast that included the entire Deol family in 'Apne' and starred alongside Govinda and Salman in 'Partner'. While she reunited with Akshay Kumar for superhits like 'Welcome' and 'Singh Is Kinng', Katrina romanced Sallu yet again in 'Yuvvraaj' and made her presence felt alongside established stars like Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor in 'Race'.It was only in 2009, that she starred opposite youngsters like Neil Nitin Mukesh and John Abraham in Kabir Khan's 'New York'. Since then, she's also acted alongside Ranbir Kapoor in 'Ajab Prem Ki Ghazab Kahani' and 'Raajneeti'.

Sonakshi started her B'Town innings with one of B'Town's biggest stars in 'Dabangg' and is expected to reunite with Salman Khan for the sequel to the superhit as well as for Sajid Nadiadwala's 'Kick'.

In the meantime, she has been shooting with Akshay Kumar for 'Joker'. She will soon work with Kamal Haasan on 'Viswaroopam' and star in 'Race 2' alongside Saif Ali Khan and Anil Kapoor, all established actors of the Hindi film industry.

The strategy certainly seems to have worked for Katrina who is one of the most sought-after actresses in B'Town today. Wonder if Sonakshi is going to follow suit.
